Are We There Yet? (Travel Thread, Suna-Land Of Iron)

Kaito Woke up somewhat early that day.

He opened his eyes to the sounds of the birds chirping. As the cool, sandy breeze entered his room through his open window, he started to awake and realize what today was. The kage summit, at the land of Iron. He was accompanying both the anbu captain, Yuudai Suzuki, and the Kazekage himself, Munakata Koshimaru. He himself being only a mere jounin was honored to not only be able to travel alongside the two, but to be apart of a kage summit was a dream come true to him. If nothing else, it proved his relevance to his village and his home. With optimism for how it would turn out, he got up from his bed, and prepared himself to leave.

Once he was ready, he made his way out onto the streets of the village. It was still relatively early, so there weren't many villagers out and about moving around throughout their day. It was almost silent. Serene. while he liked seeing the hundreds of faces from the villagers, he kinda liked the way things were now as well. It only took him a few minutes to travel throughout the streets and head to the village's gates as he was intended to due to the meeting spot that they'd agreed on. Just outside the village's gates was a seemingly endless trail of mountains of sand. For multiple miles out. It intrigued Kaito. He'd never seen anything beyond those mounds, only heard stories about the other villages from his father and others around the village. This was his chance to travel out. Meet new ninja. Find out new things about the world around him. This was his chance to expand his horizons, and his perceptions of the ninja world, and he was lucky to be able to do so.

Munakata let out a yawn as he scratched his back, peering off into the distant as he did. It was still early morning, when the sky become a strange blue color while the sun made some of turn into yellows and oranges. Today was a special day, as it was time that Munakata traveled to the Gokage Summit that was going to be held. Though he was naturally rather antsy, considering how the last one went, he still felt a desire to...evaluate the other Kage. See their worth. Who knows...he might actually benefit from this experience. Perhaps make some allies with the other villages to boost up commerce in Sunagakure. Maybe even let them help with dealing with the current outlaw situation that has been going.....yes...yes indeed. This could turn out to be a very nice trip after all. "Sir?" A voice asked from behind Munakata. Responding with a grunt, the man continued speaking. "The caravan is ready. We're waiting for your order." You see, as Kazekage, Munakata decided to arrange a caravan that was already heading to the Land of Iron for supplies to take him and two others there.

These two others were Kaito Mikami, jinchuriki of the Kyubi, and Yuudai Suzuki, ANBU Captain. They were to be Munakata's bodyguards for this little endeavor. "Thank you." The giant would say the man, sending him away as he continued to wait for the two to show up. He would be at the village gates, armed with his sword, surrounded by several camels and a sort of carriage.

Yuudai walked towards the village gates. Wearing his ANBU amor, coat, and mask, he was seemingly unrecognizable appearance-wise. His newest puppet, Silver Widow, had her arms wrapped around his neck, it's silver-haired head buried under her long hair on top of his right shoulder. The wooden hands of the puppet would be inter-locked, as to prevent it from falling off. In a way, it seemed like a cloak of sorts in its own way. As he walked towards the way out of the village he would be moving past a caravan of sorts, with a couple camels with it. At the gates themselves, nearby the moving caravan, would be the Kazekage, and Yuudai when looking outside the gates themselves would see what he could only assume would be the Nine Tails Jinjuriki and Jounin, Kaito.

Yuudai was certainly one to be cautious about this meeting, already vowing to make sure no harm comes to his allies.

Riding up in a carriage appeared None other than the Kazekage himself. He was armed with a sword, standing with several camels surrounding him, and his carriage behind him. Upon seeing him, Kaito took no time to show his respect. He immediately knelt down on one knee, and bowed his head.

"Greetings Lord Kazekage."

This was a man who Kaito help with the most respect. His love for his village made him consider the leader of the village as one of the most important individuals in the ninja world. It was his duty to respect him, and to be prepared to give his life for him during this summit. After a few moments, he stood up to his feet, turning his head towards the village's gates that were now behind the two. He saw Yuudai Suzuki, the anbu captain walking towards the two. He smiled upon seeing him. It was Yuudai's job as well as his own to keep the Kazekage safe, and he knew that the two of them would be more than capable of achieving it. He wasn't sure of what would happen at the summit. Whether or not the other villages would be friendly, nor whether or not they would be as skilled as the ninja in Sunagakure. What he knew for sure was, he'd be ready to protect both of them with his life at all times. Now that all three of them were there, he figured that it was about the right time to begin planning further movement.

"Sir, now that all of us are here, Is it time to get on the move? We wouldn't want to be late to the summit would we? Just what would the other Kage think of us then?"

Munakata, arms crossed, would first spot Kaito Mikami. A young fellow eager to do him and his village proud. A young fellow was perhaps destined for many great things. A young fellow....who had the Nine Tails sealed within his body. One of the 9 Jinchuriki within this world, holding the most powerful of the bijuu within him. Nonetheless, he was still a Sunagakure Shinobi and thus, was his responsibility. Soon enough Yuudai arrived as well, fully decked-out with his ANBU armor and even a puppet upon his back. Looking back at Kaito, Munakata would speak. "Yes, it is. Step into the carriage, its going to be a long ride and do not worry about the other Kage. Just be silent and learn, Kaito." With that, Munakata gestured at the riders. They nodded in response and mounted their camels. Munakata himself then entered the carriage and, once Kaito and Yuudai entered, would set off for the Land of Iron.

Yuudai would watch as the Jounin would kneel down on one knee, bowing to the Kazekage while he himself didn't instead knodding his head towards Munakata as he took off his bronze mask for now, revealing his fair-skinned face with the blue mark on his jawbone. "There's no need to show that degree of respect towards the man. After all, he may just be the least formal out of everyone in the village." He would say to Kaito in a way to tease Munakata before looking back at the carriage. He guessed arriving in this fashion would be easier than running the entire way there, especially while under such a tight schedule, though Yuudai would have to make up for the taking the easy route over the harder one this time around by possibly performing some exercise when he returns. He would hear the Jinjiriki about if it is time to get on the move, as the wouldn't like to be late to the summit. After all, what would the other Kage think of them if they are? 'While I tend to agree with him on this, I wonder if the previous Kage would be alive if they too, were late..' the Captain would think to himself as he put the bronze mask, whose face was carved into that of a laughing individual, back on, concealing his identity once more. "Kaito is right, we should move." Yuudai would state out loud in agreement as he stepped into the carriage, moving to the end on the opposite side of the KazeKage. "Kaito, perhaps while we are on our way to the Summit, you can tell us all about yourself?" Yuudai would offer to the Jounin as he waited for him to join them so they can leave for what may be a most eventful summit.

Kaito listened as the Kazekage spoke to him, telling him to simply stay silent and learn. It wasn't exactly what he'd had in mind, but he figured that he'd take the advice and use it wisely. Yuudai would then appear alongside him, cracking jokes and other things of the sort. He could tell that Yuudai was extremely close with the Kazekage, as he was comfortable enough to have fun around him. Kaito wished to achieve the same stage in a relationship with the two, and hoped that this would be the result of them traveling together. Then, Yuudai suggested that Kaito tell the two more about himself on the way to the land of iron. It wasn't really a bad idea, but what could he tell them that they themselves wouldn't already know? They knew he was a jounin, and they knew that he was the jinchuuriki of the nine tails. There really wasn't much more to him worth noting. Despite that, he figured that it was a good idea, and wanted to appease his two higher ups.

"yea.. I think i'd like that. I'd like that a lot."

As the two exchanged words, The kazekage gestured towards his riders to begin moving, and then made his way into the carriage. That meant that it was time to go. Yuudai followed in right after, ending up on the side of The kazekage. Kaito was ready. This was the moment he'd been waiting for, and it was finally happening. He got into the carriage last, and made himself comfortable. The three were on their way to the land of iron.
